What information I collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, I collect your name, email address, phone number if supplied, property location and message. If you email or phone me, I receive the details you choose to share. Please don't include sensitive personal information in your enquiry.
Why I use it
I use your information to reply to your enquiry and discuss the services you asked about. My lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries about my business and helping people find out about the services they have requested. You don't have to send an enquiry, but I need a way to contact you if you want a reply.
Who handles it
Your enquiry is sent by email to my Hotmail mailbox, provided by Microsoft. Lovable hosts the website and sends the enquiry email. Lovable states that it handles website form submissions on behalf of the website operator.
International processing
Lovable states that it and its service providers process personal information in several countries, including the United States, and that it uses the UK International Data Transfer Addendum for transfers from the UK. You can contact me for more information about these safeguards.
Microsoft, which provides my Hotmail mailbox, states that it transfers personal data to the United States and other countries, and uses safeguards including standard contractual clauses and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry emails in my Hotmail mailbox. If you don't become a customer, I delete your enquiry emails from my mailbox six months after our last contact. This is done manually, not automatically by the website. This period describes my handling of the emails, not deletion from providers' logs or backups.
If you become a customer, I keep records for as long as needed to provide the service and for relevant business, accounts and tax requirements.
The email delivery history available to me in Lovable shows recipient addresses, timestamps and message identifiers for 14 days. This does not mean all provider records or backups are deleted after 14 days.
Cookies and similar technologies
The hosting service sets cookies on this website. Cloudflare also uses a cookie called __cf_bm to detect automated traffic; its documentation gives a lifetime of 30 minutes.
Other services and error reporting
Your browser requests fonts from Google and some photos from Squarespace, so these providers receive your IP address. The website has technical error-reporting functionality supplied by Lovable. Reports can include details of an error, the page address, timestamps and technical identifiers. Error details may contain personal information. To prevent abuse, the enquiry form temporarily uses your IP address, or your email address if the IP address is unavailable.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of its use. These rights depend on the circumstances. Contact me using the details above.

You can object to my use of your information based on legitimate interests. I will stop unless I can show compelling legitimate grounds to continue, or need it for legal claims. Contact me using the details above.
